Ian's smile

When my Ian was born he was the happiest baby/ kid I have ever seen. As the last couple of years have gone by my happy little guy seemed to have lost his smile. It seemed as thought the "middle child" syndrome was setting in and the poor me attitude was taking over. He cried or whinnied over every little thing. It's sad to say that we got very tired of it. Little did we know that all it would take for him to regain his smile and shear joy in life was for him to burst with pride and confidence in himself. He has been playing T-Ball this June and thinks he is the greatest player ever to play the game. The first base coach mentioned on Sat. last that he was the happiest kid running to first they have ever seen. He hits the ball throws the bat and gets the biggest grin on his face just to run to the base. Tonight the main coach told me that he was really proud of Ian's accomplishments and that he has really gotten the game. Ian went from not knowing anything to really being a good ball player. Tonight he was even the pitcher. I haven't seen him smile that big in a really long time. So my thanks goes out to all the wonderful people who have taken there time to help my son learn the game of baseball.
