butter scotch pie

Dan's favorite pie of all times is a home made cooked butter scotch pie.  I have perfected this yummy dessert for him and now he gets to enjoy it all by himself when ever he asks for it.  today since I was already baking and I had extra pie dough I decided to suprize him with this special treat.

 I was hoping you could see the steam coming off of the pie when I took the picture but sadly you can not.  It was hot and fresh just a few minutes ago and now it is chilling and will be ready to eat at 3:30 when Dan gets home from work today.
