family fun day

got the kids to hurry and clean up the house today with the promise of taking them to skate world.  this is truly a reward for them since we never go there.  It was quite an experience.  William would go out to skate but just walked and was super slow.  it was so fun to watch He tried his best and was so proud of his accomplishments.  Kiersten braved it after a few minutes of holding on and was able to go faster then before.  And Ian after many tears finally gained the confidence to go back and forth on the carpet and get better and better each moment that we were there.  We ran in to some great friends there it was lots of fun.  After this we went to Sonic to eat this was a first for the kids and they enjoyed watching the waitresses roll around on there skates to serve everyone there food.  Kiersten changed her dream job from working at DQ to working at sonic so she could skate.  Love the dreams of kids.  After this we went to our old neighbor hood in Springfield and let the kids play at island park, or should I say POO park.  every where we stepped was like walking on tippy toes to avoid the poop of animals.  pretty gross.  This brought us to some shopping.  were looking for a skeleton key for our cabinet in the kitchen and thought we might find one at goodwill.  William loved that it was Good Will cuz it was his store his named and he was good.  Then to the dollar store to find treasure.  Coming home to switch the laundry and finish cleaning then back out again to have ice cream at baskin robins.  Another favorite since its named after aunt robin.  then grocery shopping and home again for fhe movie time and dinner.  What a wonderfully fun filled day with just me and my family. 
back to life tomorrow, work, extra kids, school and all that comes with that.
