a quilt k and i are making

so this year for our auction basket at the miss lane county-miss line bention pageant we decided to make a quilt.  Kiersten and I have been busy sewing and ironing and getting the top ready this is a sample of our process.  we have one more piece of fabric to add to the outside to finish off the top then put it all together.  It is turning out super nice and Dan thinks we should bid on it and possible keep it.  Perhaps I should just make another one like it for us instead. 

off to the side you can see Dan's pillow cases they match perfectly.  too bad we can't find those again to go with the quilt.

this is the middle of the quilt it was a print we just added the outside blocks and will add more later.  really loving this one.
