Kiersten Gets Baptized
Kiersten Was Baptized Sept. 5, 2009 by her wonderful Daddy. It is hard to believe that she is old enough to make such an important choice in her life. Today Sunday Sept 6 she received the greatest gift she will ever get in her entire life. That is the Gift of the Holy Ghost. It was so incredible that Dan was truly in tune with our Father in Heaven and able to bless Kiersten in a Divine way. I love my hubby so much and I am grateful he is a worthy priesthood holder and is able to act for our Heavenly Father in these moments. Dan has only Cried 4 times since we have been married and for him to be touched and over come enough for this was extra special.
These fantastic young men choose to serve there mission and were called to our area. Elder Turner and Elder Romney have taught Kiersten the Gospel and helped her to feel the Holy Ghost and so she knew that what she was choosing was the truth and the path to eternal life.
Our dear sweet friend Grace Papworth was also baptised on the 5Th. the girls practiced a song called "a newness of life " by Janice kapp perry. I was a beautiful song . they were amazing and Sister Brooke Cottle was incredible and wonderful to play for us. We are so glad for this. The program also included a wonderful talk by Kiki's Grammy Ann about being clean and repenting so that they can stay clean. She used an egg as her example. We had a great taco dinner with both our families combined at the church afterwards and got to visit with family and friends. Great memories. a beautiful day full of love for our Heavenly Father and the spirit of God burned like a fire within. I am so proud of Kiersten for making this choice in her life and for my husband for being worthy to make this possible.
this day wouldn't have been complete with out a visit from Grammy Ann and Grandpa Ron uncle Jay, Aunt Traci Andrew and Nadia, Grammy Barb, aunt Melanie, uncle randy, aunt robin, and all our many wonderful friends. thank you for all your love and support.
